BEST IN SHOW: Bookbuilders West Design Competition
Marcovaldo is the only book that Calvino aimed at a younger audience. It contains charming stories about a family living in industrial Milan through the 1950s and 1960s. The main character, Marcovaldo, has a remarkable sensitivity to the beauty of nature and frequently finds himself in comical predicaments as a result. Marcovaldo is one of my favorite books and I had a wonderful time completing this project.
